Privacy notice.
The short version: no cookies, no ad trackers, nothing that follows you to other sites. We count visits without knowing who makes them. If you send us a brief or an email, we use it to answer you and for nothing else.
Who we are
Nightloom Development is the name our team of four works under. The controller of the data described here is Artem H. (@unwinned), who also signs contracts for the team. Write to [email protected] about anything on this page.
What we keep
- The brief. Your name and email, your company if you give one, the format you picked, the task, whether you want an NDA first, and the page it was sent from.
- Email. Whatever you write to us, with the usual headers.
- Visit counts. Which pages are opened and how far down they are read, which buttons and links are clicked, where visitors come from (the site that linked here and any
utm_tags in the link), and the country, browser and kind of device. Counted with Umami, without cookies: your IP address is used to work out the country and is not stored, and visits are told apart by a code that changes every month. Nothing you type into the brief is sent there. - Server logs. Your IP address, your browser, the page asked for and the time. Kept for 14 days to keep the site safe, then deleted.
Why, and on what basis
To answer you and prepare an estimate: steps you asked for before a possible contract (GDPR, article 6(1)(b)). The server logs and the visit counts: our legitimate interest in keeping the site running and safe, and in learning which parts of it are useful (article 6(1)(f)).
Where it goes
The brief reaches us by email, or through our own server, which passes it to our team's mailbox and a private team chat. It is not sold, not shared and not added to any mailing list. Only the four of us see it.
The visit counts are kept by Umami (umami.is), the analytics service we use. We see totals, not people.
How long
A brief or email that does not turn into work is deleted 12 months after the last message. If we work together, the correspondence stays as long as the contract and accounting rules require.
Cookies and storage
No cookies. Your browser keeps two small values on your device, and neither is sent to us: the night or day colours you picked (nl-theme), and, for a moment while you change pages, the spot the page transition starts from (nl-veil).
Your rights
You can ask what we hold about you, have it corrected or deleted, limit or object to its use, or get a copy to take elsewhere. Write to the address above; we answer within 30 days. You can also complain to a data protection authority; in the Czech Republic, that is the Office for Personal Data Protection.
